However, you are getting some considerable upgrades under the hood here, courtesy of an octa-core processor, which might pay off if you're looking to run more demanding apps and games. If you're looking for a cheap tablet for the kids, $200 might be pushing it.
So far we've only seen this price once, so if you do spot a deal sitting at between $80 and $110 you're getting an excellent offer.
However, we have seen it drop down to $79.99 (£89.99) in the past. The MSRP here is $149.99 (£149) but, like the other models, regular Amazon Fire tablet deals keep that price closer to $109.99 (£109.99). Add to that the boosted resolution of the display and overall you're grabbing a speedy and satisfying device for a fantastic price.
